Total assets as at end June 2009 were QR 59.0 billion ($16.2 billion). During the first quarter of 2009, the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) completed the first stage of the subscription process in the Bank’s share capital by investing QR 807 million ,representing 5% of the Bank’s share capital and further strengthening the Capital base to QR 10.5 billion ($ 2.9 billion). and the Capital Adequacy Ratio to 15.6%.
